 ስር የሰደደው አደንዛዥ እፅ ተጠቃሚነትና የኤች አይ ቪ ተጋላጭነት

አስራ ሁለተኛ ክፍል እስክትደርስ ድረስ በቤተሰቧ ጥብቅ ቁጥጥር ስር ነው ያደገችው። በትምህርቷም ጎበዝ ነበረች። እግሯ ከቤት ወደ ትምህርት ቤት፤ ከትምህርት ቤት ወደ ቤት እንጂ ሌላ ቦታ ረግጦ አያውቅም። የኋላ ኋላ ግን የአስራ ሁለተኛ ክፍል ትምህርቷን አጠናቃ ጥሩ ውጤት በማምጣቷ እግሯ ከትምህርት ቤትና ከቤት አልፎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ መርገጡ አልቀረም። እዚሁ አዲስ አበባ ተምራ እዚሁ አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጥቁር አንበሳ ሆስፒታል ጤና ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ መመደቧ ለእርሷም ሆነ ለወላጆቿ ትልቅ ተስፋ ነበር።

ይሁን እንጂ የሕክምና ትምህርቷን ‹‹ሀ›› ብላ እንደጀመረች ለእርሷ የካምፓስ ሕይወት ፍፁም አዲስ ነበር። ዶርም ይዞ ማደር መጣ። አዳዲስ ነገሮችን ማየትና ጓደኛ ማፍራትም ተጀመረ። ከቤተሰብ ለአንዳንድ ነገሮች ተብሎ ገንዘብ መቀበልም የቀን ተቀን ተግባሯ ሆነ። ቀደም ሲል የነበረው የቤተሰብ ቁጥጥርም እየላላ መጣ። ኧረ እንደውም ፈፅሞ ጠፋ። በዚህ መሀል ነው እንግዲህ ማንም አያየኝም ነፃ ነኝ በሚል መጀመሪያ መጠጥ፣ ቀስ እያለች ሲጋራ ማጨስና ከዛ ደግሞ አደንዛዥ እፅ /ዊድ/ መጠቀም የጀመረችው።

እነዚህን አደንዛዥ እፆች መጠቀም ከጀመረች በኋላ ቀደም ሲል አብረዋት የነበሩ ጎበዝ ጓደኞቿን ትታ ውሎና አዳሯ ከእፅ ተጠቃሚዎች ጋር ሆነ። በዚህ ጊዜ ሌሎችንም አዳዲስ አደንዛዥ እፆችን መጠቀሟን ቀጠለች። አዳዲስ እፆችን በላይ በላይ ስትጠቀም በጊዜ ሂደት በእፆቹ ተሰላችታ ልትረካ አልቻለችም። እናም ወደሌሎች የእፅ አይነቶች ፊቷን አዞረች። ያልተጠቀመቸው የእፅ እንክብልም አልነበረም። ይህም አላረካትም። ስለዚህ ወደ ከባድ ሱስ አስያዥና ለጤና እጅግ አደገኛ ወደሆነውና በመርፌ ወደሚወሰደው አደንዛዥ እፅ መጠቀም አመራች።

ይህን እፅ መጠቀም ከጀመረች በኋላ በርካታ ነገሮቿን አጥታለች። የዩኒቨርሲቲ ትምህርቷን አቋርጣለች። እንደዛም ሆና ቤተሰቦቿ ተስፋ ሳይቆርጡ የተለያዩ የግል ከፍተኛ የትምህርት ተቋማት ውስጥ ከፍለው ለማስተማር ቢሞክሩም እሷ ግን ጀምራ ማጠናቀቅ አልቻለችም። በዚህ ሂደት ውስጥ እያለች አርግዛ ቤተሰብ ሰምቶ ነገሮች ወደነበሩበት ሁኔታ እንዲመለሱ ጥረት እያደረገች ሳለች ከመጠን በላይ እፅ በመጠቀም ጦስ የልጇን አባት አጥታለች።

ይህ ድንገተኛ አጋጣሚ ከዚህ አሰቃቂ የአደንዛዥ እፅ ሕይወት እንዳትወጣ ብዙ ጎትታል። ይህ ሕይወት የመግቢያውን ያህል መውጫው አልቀለላትም። ካለው የድብርት ስሜትና ከሚያስከትለው የሥነ ልቦና ጫና ጎን ለጎን የሰውነቷን መገጣጠሚያ ለሕመም ዳርጎታል። ብርድ ብርድ ብሏታል። በከፍተኛ ሙቀት ተሰቃይታለች። አስመልሷታል፤ አስቀምጧታል።

በጊዜው የሚታያት ምንም ነገር አድርጋ አደንዛዥ እፁን መጠቀም ብቻ ነበር። በተደጋጋሚ ራስን የማጥፋት ስሜትም ተፈታትኗታል። እንደውም በመርፌ እየወሰደችው ያለው አደንዛዥ እፅ እየተደጋጋመ በመምጣቱ እንደበፊቱ ስሜት እየሰጣት እንኳን አይደለም።

ለዚህ ጽሑፍ ታሪክ ሲባል ስሟ የተቀየረውና የዚህ ታሪክ ባለቤት ወጣት ትዕግስት ጌታቸው ዛሬ ላይ አደንዛዥ እፅን በመርፌ መጠቀሟን ሙሉ በሙሉ ባታቆምም ለማቆም ወስና መጠኑን ቀንሳለች። እፁን ለማቆም ብርቱ ትግል እያደረገች ነው። አሁን ደግሞ በእኔ ይብቃ ብላ እራሷን ፊት ለፊት አውጥታ ባገኘችው አጋጣሚ ሁሉ ከእርሷ ጉዳት ሌሎች ወጣቶችን እያስተማረች ነው።

ዩኒቨርሲቲ እስክትገባ ድረስ በቤተሰብ ቁጥጥር እንደነበረች የምታስታውሰው ወጣት ትዕግስት አሁን ግን ጊዜው ተቀይሮ የቤተሰብ ቁጥጥር በመላላቱ የመጀመሪያና ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ተማሪዎች ሳይቀሩ ገና በለጋ እድሜያቸው ወደ አስከፊው አደንዛዥ እፅ እንደሚገቡ ትናገራለች። ከዚህ አለፍ ሲል ደግሞ በከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት ውስጥ በተማሪዎች ዘንድ የአደንዛዥ እፅ ተጠቃሚነት ስር እየሰደደ ስለመምጣቱ ትጠቁማለች።

ከዚህ አንፃር ትምህርት ቤቶች፣ መምህራንና የትምህርት አመራሮች፣ ወላጆችና ከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት ትውልዱ ወደዚህ አስከፊ ሕይወት እንዳይገባ የማድረግና የገባውንም እንዲወጣ የማገዝ ትልቅ ኃላፊነት እንዳለባቸው ታመለክታለች። በተለይ ደግሞ በየቤቱ ተደብቀው አደገኛ የሆነውንና በመርፌ የሚወሰደውን አደንዛዥ እፅ የሚጠቀሙ ወጣቶችና ሌሎችም የህብረተሰብ ክፍሎች በመኖራቸው እነርሱን በማውጣትና በማዳን ረገድ የሁሉም ድርሻ እንዳለበት ትጠቁማለች።

ዛሬ ራሷን ከዚህ አስከፊ አደንዛዥ እፅ ተጠቃሚነት ለማላቀቅ ብርቱ ትግል እያደረገች የምትገኘው ወጣት ትዕግስት አንድ ቀን ትግሏ ሰምሮ ወደ ጤናማ ሕይወት እንደምትመለስ ተስፋ አለ። በጊዜያዊ ደስታ ተታለውና ለጊዜው ጥሟቸው ወደዚህ አስከፊ ሕይወት የገቡና ለመግባት የሚሞክሩ ወጣቶችም ከእርሷ በብዙ ይማራሉ ተብሎ ይታሰባል።

አቶ ጥበቡ ጌታቸው የማህበራዊ ጤናና ልማት ድርጅት ሥራ አስኪያጅ ናቸው። እርሳቸው እንደሚሉት፣ በኢትዮጵያ አደንዛዥ እፅን በክንዳቸው ተወግተው የሚወስዱ ሰዎች ቁጥር ከጊዜ ወደ ጊዜ እየጨመረ መጥቷል። ይሁንና ችግሩ አሁን ነው ገና ጎልቶ መታየት የጀመረው። ከዚህ በፊት የማህበራዊ ጤናና ልማት ድርጅት ከጤና ሚኒስቴር ጋር በመተባበር በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ አማካኝነት እ.ኤ.አ በ2017 በሰራው ጥናት በዚህ አይነቱ መንገድ አደንዛዥ እፅን የመጠቀም ዝንባሌ እየጨመረ ስለመምጣቱ አረጋግጧል።

እንደዚህ አይነቱ አደንዛዥ እፅ በአብዛኛው ጥቅም ላይ የሚውለው በመርፌ ክንድን በመውጋት በመሆኑና አንዱ የተጠቀመበትን መርፌ ሌላኛው ስለሚጠቀም ለኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስ የመጋለጥ እድሉ ይጨምራል። ይህ ብቻ ሳይሆን እፁን ለመውሰድ የሚጠቀሙበት መርፌ ያልተቀቀለ በመሆኑ ለጉበት ሕመም ይጋለጣሉ።

በኢትዮጵያ አደንዛዥ እፆችን መርፌ በመወጋት የሚጠቀሙና መርፌ በመለዋወጥ ሂደት ለኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስ የሚጋለጡ የህብረተሰብ ክፍሎች የትኞቹ እንደሆኑ በትክክል በጥናት ያልተረጋገጠ ቢሆንም በአብዛኛው ወጣቶች እንደሆኑ ይገመታል። ራሱ የማህበራዊ ጤናና ልማት ድርጅት እ.ኤ.አ በ2017 ባጠናው ጥናትም ይህንኑ አረጋግጧል። በተለይ ደግሞ እድሜያቸው ከ20 እስከ 30 ያሉ ወጣቶች በዚሁ አደንዛዥ እፅ ተጠቃሚነት ምክንያት ለኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስ እንደሚጋለጡ ጥናቱ አመላክቷል። ይህ ሲባል ግን ሌሎችም የህብረተሰብ ክፍሎች በመርፌ አደንዛዥ እፅ ወስደው ለኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስ አይጋለጡም ማለት አይቻልም።

አደንዛዥ እፆችን መርፌ በመወጋት የሚጠቀሙና ለኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስ የሚጋለጡት ደግሞ በአብዛኛው ወንዶች እንደሆኑ ጥናቱ አሳይቷል። እንደ ወንዶቹ ባይበዙም ሴቶችም አደንዛዥ እፆችን በመርፌ ተወግተው ይወስዳሉ፤ ለኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስ የሚጋለጡም አሉ።

ሥራ አስኪያጁ እንደሚያብራሩት፣ ጥናቱ በተሰራበት እ.ኤ.አ በ2017/18 በአዲስ አበባ ብቻ 4 ሺ 88 ሰዎች አደንዛዥ እፆችን መርፌ በመወጋት እንደሚወስዱ ተረጋግጧል። በሀዋሳ ከተማም ተመሳሳይ ቁጥር እንዳለ ጥናቱ ጠቁሟል። ይህም በሁለቱ ከተሞች አደንዛዥ እፅን በመርፌ ክንድን በመውጋት መጠቀም ከፍተኛ እንደሆኑ ያሳያል።

በጥናት ተረጋግጠው ኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስ ከተመረመሩት ውስጥ ደግሞ የስርጭት መጠኑ 39 ነጥብ 8 መሆኑን ያሳያል። ነገር ግን ብዙ ምርመራ ቢደረግ የስርጭት መጠኑ ከዚህም በላይ ሊሆን ይችላል። ይህ ጥናት ገና ጅምር እንደመሆኑ ከዚህም በላይ በዚሁ አደንዛዥ እፅን በመርፌ በመጠቀም ምክንያት በኤች አይ ቪ የሚያዙ ሰዎች ቁጥር ከዚህ በላይ ከፍ ይላል ተብሎ ይገመታል። በእንዲህ አይነቱ መንገድ እፁን የሚጠቀሙ ሰዎች ድብቅ በመሆናቸው ሁለትና ሶስት ሰዎች ሲገኙ እነዚህ ሰዎች በመያዝና ሌሎችም እንዲወጡ በማድረግ ሂደትም ነው ጥናቱ ሊከናወን የቻለው።

ይሁንና በተቀረው የሀገሪቱ ትላልቅና አነስተኛ ከተሞች አካባቢ ያለውን መረጃ ለማወቅ ተጨማሪ ጥናቶችን ማድረግ ይጠይቃል። በግሎባል ፈንድ ድጋፍ እየተደረገ ባለው ፕሮጀክትም ላይ ጥናቶቹ እንደሚቀጥሉ ያመለክታሉ።

በቀጣይም ተጨማሪ ጥናቶችን በማድረግ ችግሩ ምን ያህል እንደሆነ የማረጋገጥ ሥራ ይሰራል። ለዚህም አስፈላጊው ዝግጅት አጠናቋል። የኢትዮጵያ ህብረተሰብ ጤና ኢንስቲትዩትም ይህን ጥናት ለማካሄድ አንዳንድ ቅድመ ሁኔታዎችን አጠናቋል።

በዚህ የመነሻ ጥናት አማካኝነት ግን አደንዛዥ እፆችን በመርፌ በመወጋት የመጠቀም ችግር አሁን አሁን ገሃድ እየወጣና አሳሳቢ እየሆነ መጥቷል። በተለይም ከወጣቶች የኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስ ተጋላጭነት ጋር ተያይዞ ችግሩ እየታየ ስለመምጣቱ ጠቋሚ ምልክቶች አሉ። የዚህ ችግር ተጋላጭ አንዱና ዋነኛዎቹ ወጣቶች ስለመሆናቸውም ተረጋግጧል።

ሆኖም በዚህ መልኩ አደንዛዥ እፁን የሚጠቀሙና ለኤች አይ ቪ የተጋለጡ ወጣቶችን አድኖ ማግኘት እጅግ አስቸጋሪ ነው። የት እንዳሉ የመለየት ሥራም ይጠይቃል። በምን ሰዓት እንደሚገኙና ምን አይነት አደንዛዥ እፅ እንደሚጠቀሙም ማጥናትም ይፈልጋል።

ዞሮ ዞሮ ግን ጫት፣ ሲጋራ፣ አልኮልና የመሳሰሉ እፆችን የሚጠቀሙ የህብረተሰብ ክፍሎች በተለይ ደግሞ ወጣቶች ስለሚኖሩና ከፍ እያሉ እፆችን በመርፌ አማካኝነት ወደመጠቀም ስለሚመጡ የችግሩ ሁኔታ በገሃድ እየታወቀ መጥቷል። ሀሽሽና ሲሻ ከሚጠቀሙት በስተጀርባ እፆችን በመርፌ በመወጋት መጠቀም እንደሚኖር ይገመታል።

አሁን ሰፋ ተብለው በሚሰሩ ጥናቶች ደግሞ ችግሩ የበለጠ ጎልቶ የሚወጣበት እድል ይኖራል። የማህበራዊ ጤናና ልማት ድርጅት ሥራ አስኪያጅ ለወጣቶች የአቻ ለአቻ ትምህርት ስለሚሰጥ ችግሩ በደምብ ይታያል ተብሎ ይገመታል።

ሥራ አስኪያጁ እንደሚናገሩት፣ አደንዛዥ እፆችን በመርፌ መጠቀም ልክ እንደሌሎች እፆች ለምሳሌ ሲጋራ፣ ጫት፣ ሃሽሽ፣ ሲሻና አልኮል የሚታይ አይደለም። እነዚህ እፆች በቀጥታ ተጠቃሚዎችን ነው ሊጎዱ የሚችሉት። አደንዛዥ እፆችን በመርፌ መጠቀም ግን ግለሰቡ እርሱ ተውግቶ ሌላም ሰው እርሱ በተጠቀመበት መርፌ ስለሚወጋና ለኤች አይ ቪ ኤድ ሊጋለጥ ስለሚችል ከእርሱ አልፎ ሌላም ሰው ይጎዳል።

በሌላ በኩል ደግሞ ግለሰቡ አንድ ጊዜ በመርፌ አደንዛዥ እፅ መውሰድ ከጀመረ ከዚህ ለመውጣት የሚወስደው ጊዜ በጣም ረጅም ነው። ረጅም መሆኑ ብቻ ሳይሆን ከፍተኛ የሕክምና ክትትል ይፈልጋል፤ በዚህም ከፍተኛ ወጪ ያስወጣል። በቀላሉም ስለማይታይ ነው አስቀድሞ መከላከሉ ላይ ትኩረት ተደርጎ እየተሰራ ያለው። ወጣቶች ወደዚህ እፅ ተጠቃሚነት እንዳይገቡ በትምህርት ቤቶች፣ በወጣቶች ስብእና ግንባታ ማዕከላትና በከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት አካባቢ አስቀድሞ የመከላከል ትምህርት እንደሚማሩ የሚደረገውም በዚሁ ምክንያት ነው።

ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘ የማህበራዊ ጤናና ልማት ድርጅት በወጣት ስብእና መገንቢያ ማዕከላትና በራሱ ክሊኒክ የአቻ ለአቻ ትምህርት ለወጣቶች እየሰጠ ይገኛል። የአቻ ለአቻ ተወያዮችን አስተምሮ የአቻ ለአቻ ትምህርት እንዲማሩ ያደርጋል። ወጣቶች የአቻ ለአቻ ትምህርቱን እንዳጠናቀቁ የኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስ፣ የአባላዘር በሽታ፣ የጉበትና የአፒታይተስ ቢ እና ሲ ምርመራ ያደርጋሉ። ኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስ ቫይረስ የተገኘባቸው ደግሞ ወደ መንግስት ጤና ጣቢያ ሄደው ሕክምናና የፀረ ኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስ መድኃኒት እንዲያገኙ ይደረጋል።

ከዚህ ባለፈ አደንዛዥ እፅን በመርፌ ለሚጠቀሙና ከዚህ ለመላቀቅ ጥረት ለሚያደርጉ ብሎም ከዚህ ሕይወት ለወጡ ግለሰቦችም በመንግስት ዘውዲቱና ጳውሎስ ሆስፒታል እንዲሁም በግል ስጦታው በተሰኘ የሱስ ማገገሚያ ማዕከላት አገልግሎቱን እንዲያገኙ እየተደረገ ይገኛል።
