Ethiopia to stage int’l construction exhibition
ADDIS ABABA – The 10th Addis Build International Construction, Steel, Construction Materials and Infrastructure Exhibition will be staged in Addis Ababa, Millenium Hall from Oct 09 up to -12, it was learnt.
The exhibition jointly hosted by Ministry of Urban Development and Construction, Ethel Advertising and Communication plc and Turkish based Ladin International Fair and Congress Organization will bring together 97 exhibitors from 13 countries, including Ethiopia.
These companies will be exhibiting more than 22 new products including steel products, security fences, concrete pipes, iron, metal, steel products and other latest technologies from the construction sector of their respective countries.
Head of Construction Sector Competitiveness Improvement, Eng. Abdu Jemal told a press conference yesterday that the exhibition will create an opportunity for Ethiopians companies investing in the sector to draw better lessons.
The exhibition will help attract foreign investors in to the sector by promoting the country’s business opportunities; he said adding that lack of construction inputs supply affects the sector.
A sideline panel discussion concerning our country’s construction material supply chain problems and difficulties will be held at a venue. Also, there will also be a business to business meeting among exhibitors and participants, it was learnt.
