Ethiopia, like china, has a great history. It is a great nation with a bright future. Having a glorious past, both are striving to improve the livelihood of their people,” said Tan Jian

“The food aid is one thing, but we are planning to focus on the root cause of  the problems. Supporting Ethiopia’s relentless effort in curbing the effects of climate change, we are aiming high to contribute in the endeavor to create resilient structure that absorbs any possible shock” he added.

He noted that his government appreciates and applauds the swift and effective response of the Ethiopian government not only to ease the food shortage, but also to address the root causes of the problem through investing hugely on the green economy.
