The 14th ordinary session of Heads of Government and State of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) was held on Monday 12 June 2023 in Djibouti City, Djibouti. Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed (PhD) attended the session.
Ethiopian delegation took the opportunity to hold bilateral and multilateral discussions with leaders of neighboring countries on bilateral and issues of common concern.
Among bilateral discussions, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) had discussion with Somalian President of, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Kenyan President William Ruto.
African Union Commission Commissioner Moussa Faki Mahamat was present in the session along with eight member countries of the IGAD region and IGAD Executive Secretary Workneh gebeyehu (PhD).
