Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD), along with Addis Ababa City Administration Mayor Adanech Abibie, visited the Anbesa Garage – Jukrose – Goro Square corridor development project located in the east of the capital. The purpose of the visit was to review the progress of the ongoing corridor projects.
This initiative is part of the second round of corridor developments in the city, which commenced several months ago. The completed corridor features an 8-kilometer pedestrian walkway, a 4-kilometer cycling lane, public toilets, standardized shops, and a range of modern amenities consistent with other corridor projects across Addis Ababa. This transformation aims to alleviate congestion in an area previously known for its traffic challenges, according to the Office of the Prime Minister.
