House ratifies four bilateral agreements

ADDIS ABABA-The House of People’s Representative ratified yesterday bilateral agreements entered with Algeria, Morocco, Rwanda and Qatar.

The agreements were made on various areas which included agricultural development and investment in manufacturing as well as information communication and media. Also, the agreements are meant to enhance the inflow of FID to the country while expediting integration.

The House also referred draft bills of Diplomatic and Special Passport for Qatari people, Education Sector and Scientific Innovations Cooperation with Qatar government to the scrutiny of respective standing committees.

A draft bill on Diplomatic Convention with Algeria as well has been referred to Foreign Relations and Peace Affairs Standing Committee for technical consents. The agreements are said to set framework for further cooperation in areas like educational, agricultural, investment and media development.
