Higher education institutions should become centers of excellence to improve the livelihoods of the people and in strengthening social bonds among the people. As learning is bringing behavioral change, graduates of these higher education institutions should also contribute in forwarding solutions for problems.
You have a responsibility to transform Ethiopia to the highest level. Graduates are expected to make significant contributions to the country’s economic development endeavors. My message is, love your country like our fathers and forefathers at any situation.

Ethiopia has made history by planting 566,971,600 seedlings in 12 hours, breaking its 2019 own record. I want to say congratulations to the entire Ethiopian people. Today, we have accomplished a very heartening task that gives lessons to the whole world.
When Ethiopia pledges to plant 50 billion seedlings, the country is hinging hope on its citizens. I call Ethiopians to repeat today’s historical achievement in other spheres of development, particularly to consolidate peace.

Ethiopia’s Green Legacy Initiative is a commendable initiative that helps to tackle climate change. The initiative would facilitate Ethiopia’s pursuit of green and sustainable development.
Ethiopia’s Green legacy correspond China’s ecological civilization, which is part of Chinese path towards modernization. Resource conservation, environmental protection and letting nature restore itself should become all countries priority.

Ethiopia’s Green Legacy initiative has gained international recognition as the country has made history by planting over 566 million seedlings in 12 hours. The initiative is part of Ethiopia’s green diplomacy which has been pursued for the past few years in making Ethiopia green.
