Organization to construct comprehensive specialized hospital

ADDIS ABABA- Hibir Lebego (coalition for sacred deed) Ethiopian Bego Adragot Organization has received 40,000 square meters of land to construct specialized hospital at Sheger City around Legetafo to provide the needy accessible health care.

In his opening remark, during the launching ceremony attended by senior government officials, public figures and religious fathers, Hibir Lebego Chief Executive, Artist Solomon Bogale stated that this state-of-the-art hospital belongs to all would provide citizens with a high level medication for people with various chronic diseases.

He further stated that the facility would provide accessible and affordable healthcare services, with the capacity to threat a large segment of patients throughout the country.

“The building will be finalized and put into operation within the next three years, so fundraising program will be conducted via 14 different resource mobilization platforms due to be disclosed soon,” he remarked.

He further emphasized that some 4 billion Birr is required to construct the state-of-the-art hospital and furnish the building in the above stated period.

Praising the owner of the initiative, Sheger City Administration Chief Executive, Tesfaye Assefa on his part stated that this kind of initiative is instrumental in easing the burdens of the government and bridging the gaps witnessed in the health sector, and the government is always committed to be a part of this mega project.

“As it is highly costly to go abroad for patients these days for a better healthcare,it is time for all of us to play our role for the realization of the project,” he stressed.

He vows to be a part of this initiative and also called on stakeholders to move in unison up to the accomplishment of the project.

It was learnt that Hibret Lebego was founded by Artist Solomon Bogale eight years ago and reaches out to patients in critical needs with low financial incomes, and the foundation sponsored 24 patients to receive treatments abroad.

So far, Hibret Lebego foundation has been taking part in multifaceted activities such as humanitarian support, providing wheelchairs, vehicles and sending children abroad for better medication, it was learnt.

It was remembered that Artist Solomon Bogale has been appointed as Tsedey Bank Brand Ambassador.
