In days gone by, Ethiopia was backing itself into a corner and not feeling itself time after time seeing that the situation of the country was in the balance. At that specific point, most Ethiopians residing at home and abroad were giving up hope on Ethiopia on account of circumstances that were persistently moving the country into uncharted territory.
As time went by, when Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed came into power, the situation of the country embarked on getting back on track in a little while. All and sundry kept on expressing their happiness in various ways. They were all beside joy with themselves. Without any hyperbole, most of them were over the moon.
As time went by, the TPLF Junta officials’ kept on orchestrating unrest in various parts of the country utilizing a wide spectrum of strategies. Even though the government of Ethiopia endeavored to get to the bottom of the problem through dialogue, the TPLF Junta officials kept on giving the cold shoulder and beating the drums of war.
Sadly, they set in motion showing their contempt for the constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia by claiming to have approved their electoral law, conducted their illegal election and other related aspects.
Be that as it may, the TPLF Junta officials’ cliques attacked the Northern Command of the ENDF intending to overthrow the government.
However, the ENDF turned out to be victorious over the law enforcement operation in the shortest time possible.
Of late, the Ethiopian Press Agency had a short stay with Dr. Bikila Hurissa, Public and International Relations Head at Prosperity Party Head office regarding the law enforcement oppression taken by the ENDF. Excerpts:
What is your take on the successful law enforcement operation of the ENDF?
The ENDF turned out to be victorious in three weeks in the law enforcement operation that took place in the Tigray region following the attack the TPLF junta cliques carried out on the Northern Command of the ENDF.
In law enforcement operation, the ENDF managed to witness their greatness and heroic deeds. On top of that, they ended up throwing cold water on the efforts of the TPLF junta officials at the earliest convenience.
By the same token, the ENDF’ heroic deeds have been spreading in every nook and cranny of the world like wildfire and turning out to be the talk of the world at the earliest possible time.
If truth be told, the ENDF managed to demonstrate great heroism saying, “Nothing is above my country, finish me off than dividing me in race and ethnicity, and other utterances reciting tremendous heroic acts.”
On account of their determination and dedication, they made a great struggle not to surrender no matter what the cost may be. Taking the problem they stumbled upon into account, the ENDF fought bravely and courageously until additional forces had reached. However, in the fullness of time, they managed to put their all into their country’s freedom and made big history.
In the same way, they have witnessed the fact that they give priority to their motherland by making a lot of sacrifices and doing whatever it takes to defend their motherland.
To the surprise of everyone, more than 115 million Ethiopians managed to stand by the side of the ENDF’ members drawn from the various Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples of Ethiopia and give priority attention to their people.
Although the TPLF Junta officials attacked the ENDF, they could not turn their vision into reality for the reason that they were thoroughly beaten by the strong arm of the ENDF.
Honestly speaking, attacking the ENDF, higher learning institutions, and the federal government of the country is nothing less than taking one’s eyes off.
It is well-recognized that the evil act that the TPLF junta provoked backfired towards itself and got it in a state of being demolished. As a result, the Federal Government succeeded in hitting the turn. What do you think is the courage and the capacity behind the ENDF?
As the TPLF Junta officials were full of mischievous and evil mentality, they were giving a hard time and turning the lives of the general public into a living hell. The key point that one needs to take into account is the fact that the truth always wins.
As evil acts and falsehood fabrications have no room, they have no power and they are defeated with no trouble. They as well have no room amid the general public. Everybody hates them to death. The secret of success is always the truth. The truth always wins in the end.
“It is crystal clear that the people of Ethiopia and Tigray were under the yoke of oppression and the feet of tyranny for nearly three decades. If truth be told, the TPLF junta officials’ evil acts were beyond words. Words failed me. The people of Ethiopia have not ever encountered this kind of evil acts in all their born days.”
To my dismay, they every so often thought that they were on the right track and moving the country in the right direction forgetting the fact that they were constantly sucking the blood of the people, and making them cry their eyes out time and again. Sad as it may sound, if people opposed the situation without fear, they would be thrown into prison. Besides, they would be killed or made to flee to another country.
As I have tried to mention so far, success is always at the doorstep of the truth. Truth is always the winner. The truth always wins in the end. The people of Ethiopia always stand with the truth. In earlier times, Ethiopians were in the habit of expressing their disappointment regarding the evil acts of the TPLF Junta officials who had been giving them a hard time. They were always telling the truth in black and white.
Standing with the truth always gives power and makes us a winner at the end of the day. The TPLF junta officials were able to stay in power for nearly three decades by killing, displacing, breaking their morals and values, and other related aspects.
As time went by, I would say, when the TPLF Junta officials carried an attack on the northern command of the ENDF’ members- the apple of Ethiopia’s eye, they by themselves proclaimed the end of themselves and hastened their death.
The ENDF managed to accomplish the law enforcement operation in the jiffy utilizing their utmost effort and ended up speeding up the death of the TPLF Junta officials and the regime’s burial processes.
The ENDF have shown that they are the greatest of all in three weeks. They are manifestations of our strength and heroism embedded in the heart of each of them. Above and beyond, the heroism of the people of Ethiopia is witnessed.
What do you think would be the political landscape of the country be following the defeat of the TPLF junta officials?
To begin with, over the past two years, Ethiopians managed to understand inch by inch the intended target of the reform and ideology. They also understood the fact that they have lost something on account of the junta over the past twenty-seven or so years. Though we Ethiopians possess various languages, identities, cultures, we all love Ethiopia. As they did not want unity, the TPLF junta officials were busy sowing the seeds of hatred and discord amid the various Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples of Ethiopia.
They were misleading the people of Ethiopia on the pretext of achieving unity in diversity and creating a strong Ethiopia. However, they time and again kept on doing illegal things behind closed curtains to turn their vision into a reality. They were merchants of race and ethnicity who were sowing the seeds of hatred in the length and breadth of the country over and over again.
Hereafter, bargaining on the ladder of race and ethnicity does not help achieve the envisioned goal, we keep on building the new Ethiopia giving the cold shoulder to other things and giving emphasis to achieving unity in diversity and Ethiopia. Our intended target is bringing Ethiopia back to the right track by achieving unity in diversity and creating people who believe in a strong Ethiopia.
Sowing the seeds of hatred and discord among the various Nations, Nationalities, and peoples of Ethiopia by the TPLF junta officials did not stop somewhere there; they as well did the same thing against Ethiopian Diasporas residing in different parts of the world. They were dividing them based on multifarious societal factors.
What do you think will be
the next hope of Ethiopia?
We measure hopes based on the peaceful existence of the different Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples of Ethiopia under the skies of Ethiopia. The main thing is the removal of the TPLF junta officials from the yoke of the people. The future of the country is very bright.
A lot of reforms will be carried out to catapult the nation to the next level in the shortest possible time. There is hope that the cost of living, economy, and unemployment will get the right answer just round the corner. Furthermore, there is a hope of creating Ethiopians who have economic security, middle income, and other things required for human needs.
What is the benefit we would secure out of the law enforcement operation? What are the implications of political transformation?
If a nation is built on rules and regulations, the whole lot will come to the right track with no trouble. But breaching rules and regulations lead nowhere. In doing so, by hook or crook, changes cannot be witnessed. But if we respect rules and regulations, we can achieve the desired goal as quickly as possible.
If we take as an example, most people who reside in highly developed countries in various parts of the world lead decent lives given that they managed to build the system in advance.
But the TPLF junta officials were persistently breaching laws and regulations of the country as they wished. They were constantly infringing the constitution of the FDRE as they pleased.
The other thing is that as quite a lot of proclamations have been ratified based on the constitution of the FDRE, they should be put in place as they should be to attain the desired goal despite its limitations. The gaps will be breached down the road. What is more, as there are quite a lot of proclamations, they should be put into effect.
As everyone is well aware, the law enforcement operation and getting rid of the TPLF Junta officials have been concluded in twenty-five days. The remaining thing is bringing them to justice.
They cannot escape wherever they are hidden. They cannot as well hide under the guise of religion and tribal masks because the system has already been established. Therefore, the political transformation and the rule of law attach significance to law enforcement.
Henceforth, the political transformation of the country attaches value to justice, law, and order. This is among one of the things dismantled by the TPLF officials.
It is to be recalled that the TPLF Junta officials shaped the ENDF of the country in tune with their ideology of Revolutionary democracy. They also preached to the members as they were guards of the Revolutionary democracy, and if there are elements who would like to infringe the Revolutionary democracy they are supposed to ardently fight them.
We are building the ENDF that fully guard Ethiopia and its people whether the political party is alive or dead.
What benefits do you think the people of Tigray will secure out of the successful completion of the law enforcement operation by the ENDF?
To the best of my knowledge, we are expected to carry out a wide spectrum of tasks in the Tigray region seeing that the TPLF junta officials were in the region since forty-seven years ago.
Though the TPLF junta officials were in power for nearly three decades, they were in Tigray for forty-seven years backing the region into a corner imposing psychological and political pressure on the people of the region.
They were sowing the seeds of hatred and discord in the midst of the various Nations, Nationalities, and peoples of Ethiopia. The people of the Tigray region passed through hostile-oriented propaganda.
Though the people of Tigray have been under the yoke of different pressure, they give priority to Ethiopianism. But the TPLF junta officials’ propaganda could not bear fruit yet. All their efforts went for nothing.
When the TPLF junta officials’ regime completely gets rid of from the face of the region once and for all, the people of Tigray will be the first to thank the government and the ENDF given that they have made them enjoy the fruits of freedom and democracy. Besides, conditions have been made conducive for them to live harmoniously with other nations and nationalities of the country.
