Forgotten transportation means

“The cart before the horse” saying seems a rightful proverb in the transportation means here in this country. It has been long since the use of horse-driven cart for conveyance gave way to modern one. Currently, it is going to be out of sight and out of mind. One may come across such a cart in towns for commuters and for cargos in rural areas.

In rural areas such service has dual purposes-transporting commuters from one place to other as well as ferrying goods from one place into another. But, it lacks comfort and stable movement. Such service has been given less attention and neglected by transportation agencies.

Due to the less attention it was accorded, the cart transportation is not well-managed and modernized. In other words, the service is still delivered in a primitive way.

The carts have been designed in outmoded ways that lacks decoration, comfort and protection from scorching suns and dusts.

In advanced countries, it is one of the most preferable means of transportation adored by prestigious and royal families. Nevertheless, here, the purpose of these carts is limited to certain areas due to traffic jams. Therefore, the government must give due attention to modernizing the horse-driven carts purpose of special transportation.
