ADDISABABA – French Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire will pay official work visit to Ethiopia Monday, according to Ethiopian News Agency (ENA).
This visit follows the working visit by President Emmanuel Macron to Ethiopia on March 2019.
Upon his visit the Minister Le Maire will meet and discuss with Prime Minster Dr. Abiy Ahmed and Ethiopian Ministry of Finance Ahmed Shide.
The Ethiopian Embassy to France said that the discussion will focus on changing the already signed agreement in different sectors between the government of Ethiopia and French President Emmanuel Macron up on his two days visit.
Le Maire will also visit Ethiopian Airlines apart from his discussion, it was learnt.
Upon his visit PM Dr. Abiy Ahmed and President Emmanuel Macron visited the Rock-Hewn churches of Lalibela and it is to be recalled that President Macron agreed to support the restoration of the Churches.
During this state visit, joint agreements that help to work together were signed in the cultural and heritage areas, the defense, space science and the economic fields, in accordance with the commitments made in the joint statement.
