Metropolitan intends to boost the increased flow of foreign currency

• The construction of ‘Bole Tower Apartment’ officially launched.

Metropolitan Real Estate, an American company, announced the commencement of construction on its latest luxury apartment homes, Bole Tower, which is designed by European architects and engineers.

In an exclusive interview with The Ethiopian Herald, the Company’s Sales and Marketing Director Leul Dereje said that beyond providing comfortable living to Addis Ababa’s residents, Metropolitan’s goal is to provide better investment opportunities.

The project is already in demolition stage at its central Bole location. With an 8 year return period and market affordability, the goal is to provide a safe income generating asset for the clients, he added.

According to the Director, the Metropolitan intends to encourage the increased flow of foreign currency in to the country. The company also provides incentives the Ethiopian Diaspora community to invest in their future back home in USD.

The company will be engaged in creating more employment opportunities leading to even further knowledge sharing, formal training in addition to the financial benefits of FDI on the housing job market. It has more than 40 permanent and contract team members at any given time.

It was learned that the Metropolitan Real Estate Company expanded to Ethiopia in 2008 with the aim of becoming the best luxury real estate developer in the country. The first residential project completed by the company is Sarbet Gebriel Apartment.
