ADDIS ABABA – Ethio-Telecom announced that over 3.5 million new customers got access to internet this fiscal year following the tariff reform.
Company’s Executive Director, Cherer Aklilu said that following tariff reform undertaken on various telecom services, more than 3.5 million new customers have gotten internet access this fiscal year.
She noted that over 72 million Birr has secured from sell of SIM cards which stayed idle over two years.
Over the last six months the company has sold over 1.2 million SIM cards for its customers and earned 72.4 million Birr, she added.
Currently, the company has over 39 million customers.
