Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed awarding National Science, Technology and Innovation Award winners on June 12/2019 at the 9th Annual National Science, Technology and Innovation Award and Recognition Ceremony at the African Union Commission.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of innovators in science and technology in time of critical need as innovators are positioned to solve societal issues. He also stated that the ultimate achievement of knowledge is to bridge society together through the application of positive Innovation and technology.
Prime Minister Abiy encouraged award recipients to utilize the ‘Medemer’ philosophy and work cohesively towards developing Ethiopia for the generations to come.
