ADDIS ABABA- The World Health Organization (WHO) Director General Tedros Adhanom (PhD) has continued serving as a mouthpiece of the Terrorist TPLF group and actively engaged in weaponizing lies to deceive the international community, said the Government Communication Service (GCS).
Briefing journalists yesterday, GCS Minister Legesse Tulu (PhD) said that Tedros is abusing his office to advance his own political interest via pledging allegiance to the terrorist TPLF group at the expense of his global position.
Accordingly, the WHO Chief has been at the forefront of peddling fake news against his homeland, Ethiopia and blindly supporting designated terrorist organization .
Recalling the Ethiopian government unilateral humanitarian truce declaration and the establishment of peace committee to solve the conflict in a peaceful manner , he said that the government has on several occasion renewed its commitment towards peaceful resolution However, the Terrorist TPLF has been beating a war drum and making preparations for another devastating war by preferring war over peace that witnesses its unwillingness for peace talks, he added.
The Ethiopian government has declared unilateral ceasefire, released key prisoners, set committee for peace talks to discuss without any precondition at anytime and anywhere under the auspices of the African Union (AU).
Talking about the recent law enforcement operation , he noted that the operation was successful in terms of foiling the internal and external anti-peace elements’ conspiracies .
Accordingly, security forces have thwarted the evil attempt of the anti-peace elements who are always working on destabilizing the country lining up with foreign terrorist groups.
Currently, the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF)cooperating with Oromia Special Forces has continued law enforcement operations and taking measures destroying Shene terrorist groups in areas of Horo Guduru, Welega, Showa, and Guji.
NumerousShene members were arrested, leaders were surrendered and those who refused to surrender were killed.
The Shene terrorist group members were targeting innocent civilians and the government will continue the law enforcement operation until peace is restored in the areas, he said.
Accordingly, the government called up on the society to be vigilant and to cooperate with security forces so as to foil the evil attempt of anti-peace elements and ensure peace and security.
