Deputy PM Demeke, President Museveni hold cooperation talks

ADDIS ABABA- Deputy Prime Minister, Demeke Mekonnen on Monday held talks with Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni, focusing on bilateral and regional issues, the Ethiopian News Agency reported.

Meeting in Entebbe on Monday, the two sides discussed on ways of further strengthening bilateral ties between Ethiopia and Uganda, according to Office of the Deputy Prime Minister .

Demeke and President Museveni agreed to bump up the longstanding relation between the two countries on the top of bolstering regional cooperation. He also handed over a letter sent from Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to the President Museveni, it was indicated.
