Nation ready to host Int’l internet governance conference: Ministry
Ethiopia has been making adequate preparations to successfully host the International Internet Governance Conference, the Ministry of Innovation and Technology stated.
State Minister for Innovation and Technology, Huria Ali, said Ethiopia is making adequate preparations to host the International Internet Governance Conference.
The International Internet Governance Advisory Group is holding a meeting in Geneva with the presence of various stakeholders from across the world.
State Minister for Innovation and Technology Huria Ali who is attending the meeting, briefed the advisory group on Ethiopia’s overall preparations noted that Ethiopia is making adequate preparations to host next year’s International Internet Governance Conference.
“Preparations are underway to hold the conference,” Huria said reaffirming Ethiopia’s commitment to a peaceful conclusion to the conference.
The 17th International Internet Governance Conference will be held in Addis Ababa in the upcoming November.
It is recalled that the Internet Management Conference is a forum for discussing and creating ideas related to the Internet related opportunities, challenges and challenges.
