As usual, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom, has continued his smear campaign against Ethiopia working in close collaboration with the terrorist TPLF group. He has been collaborating with his partners in crimes moving the northern part of the country into uncharted territory and adding fuel to the fire time and again.
Since the onset of the law enforcement operation in the Tigray state with a view to disarming the TPLF junta, the Director-General has been besmearing the image of the country coming up with layers of conspiracies and fake information that do not mirror the unembellished truth unfolding in the country.
Wretchedly, the discredited Director-General did not utter a single word when the criminal TPLF clique attacked the Northern Command of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces that had been positioned in Tigray for many years.
It should be borne in mind that the surprise attack was a deliberate act of treachery that brought about unspeakable human suffering, demonstrating life-threatening mercilessness, and showing unprecedented disloyalty.
The rogue group has also been making the country uncontrollable by triggering clashes along ethnic and religious lines and sowing the seeds of hatred among Ethiopian. Failing to utter a word on the atrocities his former bosses committed, the Director-General has been engaged in spearheading misinformation against his own country.
Through the passage of time, when the Ethiopian National Defense Forces, turned out to be victorious over the terrorist TPLF group, the Director-General embarked on blackening the image of the country by spreading untrustworthy information as if the terrorist group is the victim.
Worse still, when the terrorist TPLF group upped the ante by getting itself involved in gang rape, summary killing, ransacking, and putting the lives of civilians, the Director-General remained tight-lipped. Instead of turning the tide and making an effort to normalize the situation, he persistently partakes in tarnishing the good image of the country for the sake of bringing the terrorist TPLF group back to power and winning the hearts and minds of the country.
On the heels of the nefarious deeds of the terrorist TPLF group, Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia have been shocked by the evil deeds of WHO’s Director-General who has been rubbing salt in the wound time and again. Instead of standing with the truth, Tedros has been whitewashing massacres and other criminal acts perpetrated against civilians and playing a part in throwing mud at the undertakings of the federal government for peace.
Although the ragtag terrorist TPLF group destroyed hospitals and health centers in Afar and Amhara states, the Director-General gave the cold shoulder rather than condemning the evil acts of the group and standing by the side of noncombatants battling with quite a lot of life challenges.
In the present circumstance, notwithstanding the fact that the government of Ethiopia has given unfettered access to humanitarian assistance to Tigray , the director set in motion perplexing the international community as if the people of Tigray do not have access to humanitarian aid.
Nowadays, as humanitarian aid has been entering the Tigray state via several means, civilians have been feeling as if a huge weight is off their bodies and the international community has been giving thumbs up.
Despite the declaration of the humanitarian truce by the federal government that has drawn international acclamation, Tedros has been dragging his feet to hail the bold and positive move and rather continues baffling the international community with cooked up stories.
These days, from journalists to scholars, many have been denouncing the one-sidedness and bias of the director.
Lately, a journalist from NTV at One said that Tedros has been backing the terrorist TPLF as much as he can inclining towards his clan instead of running activities at a larger scale, as a WHO Chief. Despite ample evidence, Tedros always rejected his being accused of lobbying in favor of TPLF and due to his misbehavers, lies and intentions to back the criminal rebels.
Ethiopia has had viable ground to oppose Tedros’s nomination for second round WHO Director- General as he hid the cholera outbreak, the journalist further noted.
For another journalist, the WHO Chief has turned a blind eye and a deaf ear for the immense destruction of health institutions whereby 40 hospitals, 453 health centers, 1,700 health posts in Amhara and 60 health facilities in Afar states have been demolished by TPLF. Due to the faction’s belligerence, seven million citizens are devoid of health care facilities and medical treatment in the two states.
“Tedros never said a word about the immeasurable loss TPLF caused in Amhara and Afar states and the war crime its leftovers committed, never denounced TPLF child soldier recruitment, too, surprisingly enough he tweeted ‘PRIDE!’ in this regard.”
The director-general’s twitter account is full of Tigray damage and health there playing victim card. If one tries to search for the severe atrocities caused by TPLF in Amhara and Afar, they will never find a piece of information. This is the man who is leading WHO, the journalists emphasized.
Journalist, Historian and Author Jeff Pearce in his comment towards the director said recently that Tedros would for sure betray the world for the terrorist TPLF‘s cause as he did to Ethiopia.
West has been happy to keep backing the director and throw Ethiopia under the bus for its own foreign policies. When Ethiopia acted within its rights and complained, the chair of the WHO cut off its envoy’s speech and moved in record time to block an investigation request. Jeff added.
And yet Tedros is still backed as the guy who should be minding global health under the UN’s mandate.
Something else to consider: the strategic leadership of the WHO essentially supports the use of child soldiers. “ Tedros’s partisan press releases, his media interviews, and social media posts all go against the regulations of the WHO and constitute a violation of the WHO’s ethics guidelines.”
His social media posts, for example, are so blatantly one-sided that the line between his private view and WHO’s position is blurred. A cursory look at his official Twitter account reveals the extent to which he would go to highlight the harm and destruction in Tigray state while completely ignoring the destruction in the Afar and Amhara states. He has abused his position as head of WHO to advance a political agenda, he stated.
Alan Whiteside, an expert in global health policy said that: “ The problem is that Tedros is an authoritarian politician and a bureaucrat. He wasn’t great in the non-pandemic period of leading the WHO, and I’m afraid he’s terrible with regards to Covid-19.”
Tedros has kept his focus on Tigray while he might have shown interest in other conflicts such as the political situation in Myanmar or the rising tensions in Ukraine, Whiteside stated.
Tedros continues to inflict not only on Ethiopia but on an unsuspecting world needs to stop, while Tedros himself should move from his office in Geneva to a jail cell outside Addis Ababa, he said.
According to the sources, Tedros has been supporting the terrorist TPLF aggression through silencing about the terrorist vandalized activities in relation with the destruction of health institutes in Ethiopia, especially in Amhara and Afar states. Following this, Ethiopia has lost millions of USD and the two states’ people have been suffering due to the destructions.
The information further stated that Tedros has not talked about any crime against humanity committed by the terrorist TPLF; he rather fabricated and stretched out false narratives yet. He is still a TPLF hack exploiting the Directorship position at WHO to score wins for his terrorist organization.
