Abiy plans to reducenegative energy

ADDIS ABABA – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed called on the public to participate in a cleaning program that will be held the coming Sunday aimed at stabilizing the nation by reducing negative energy from the mind of the people.

Talking to the Media, Abiy said that the country is experiencing instability here and there, and the sanitation program is intended to bring stability to the country where the public is hearing negative news throughout the weeks.

According to him, the cleaning program will help reduce hate, revenge and other negative thoughts, and the participants need to take into account of this while they engage in the program.

 The program which will be held on Sunday morning in tandem with ‘no car movement’ will involve every citizen regardless of their sex, age and education status. University students will also be involved in the program by cleaning their respective universities and the cities hosting them.

Meanwhile, the Premier granted award last night to the Ethiopian World Cross-Country National Team who returned ranking first on the 43rd International Association of Athletics Federation’s (IAAF) World Cross Country Championship staged in Aarhus, Denmark.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister noted that the team has shown the significance of teamwork and the power of ‘Medemer’ (synergy) in achieving a commendable result on the international arena.
