ADDIS ABABA – The assistant coach of the Ethiopian national football team, known as Wallia, left for Budapest, the capital of Hungary, to take part in a three-month long coaching course, the Ethiopian Football Federation, EFF, announced.
This is an Olympic Solidarity coaching course, according to EFF. Fasil was a winger for Saint George football side in his young age. He was a member of the Ethiopian national youth team during the time of the late coach Seyoum Abate. His side earned trophy for the first time outside of the country under the guidance of Seyoum.
After retirement he has been the assistant coach of St. George before he was appointed as the assistant coach of the national team.
