Ethiopians in Sudan demonstrate supporting law enforcement operation in Tigray

BY STAFF REPORTER

Ethiopians and people of Ethiopian origin who reside in Sudan have held a peaceful demonstration supporting the federal government’s law enforcement operation in Tigray and rejecting the undue pressures against the government of Ethiopia by the media and some diplomatic corners, according to Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

People from all walks of life have participated in the rally held recently in the Capital Khartoum in the presence of the Ethiopian Ambassador to Sudan, H.E. Ambassador Yibeltal Aemero.

The demonstrators vehemently opposed what the TPLF has done against the Northern Command of the ENDF.

The government had no choice than ending impunity in the Tigray region given the treasonous acts of the clique, they added.

Ambassador Yibeltal reiterated that the TPLF had been advancing its secessionist agenda since its inception at the cost of Ethiopia and Ethiopians.

The group’s evil plans had to be short-circuited to save Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa from an inevitable and grave danger, he added.

The demonstrators have appreciated the government’s humanitarian support and rehabilitation and rebuilding efforts that followed the law enforcement campaign.

The demonstrators have opposed the clear allegiances of some media outlets and the

international community, including lobbyists and sympathizers, to the terrorist TPLF group who continued to deliberately tarnish Ethiopia’s image.
