ADDIS ABABA – Members of Ethiopian and Eritrean Diasporas in Canberra, Australia rallied to protest the unnecessary meddling of external bodies in Ethiopian internal affairs and urged the international community not to be misled by misinformation.
As to the information obtained from Ethiopian Embassy to Australia, the goal of the rally is to safeguard the sovereignty of the country from any external forces and to expose the false information that has been fabricated by the supporters of the TPLF and its remnants.
The Diasporas stated that information that is fabricated and propagated by the TPLF group doesn’t represent the law abiding fellow citizens. “Members of the terrorist group have been spreading lies through their digital wing to tarnish the image of our country.”
They also called on international organizations to stand by the federal government in the efforts of rebuilding Tigray State and strengthening peace and security across the Horn of Africa.
