Ethiopian Embassy in Paris, France, in collaboration withMedef International, has conducted a webinar, aiming to promote investment opportunities in Ethiopia to the French Private Sector Companies.
Phillippe Labonne, Chairman of the France-Eastern Africa Business Council of Medef International, in his opening remarks spoke about the growing appetite of the French private Sector Companies to engage in investment in
Ethiopia, and in this connection, he expressed Medefe’s full support to the ongoing economic reform efforts in Ethiopia.
State Minister of Finance Eyob Tekalegn (PhD) in his Keynote Speech highlighted that amidst the raging COVID -19 Pandemic that hit hard the global flows of FDI, that Ethiopia succeeded in receiving USD 2.1 billion in 2020.
About 51 French Private Sector Companies’ CEOs attended the meeting.
