Restoring citizens and infrastructures

The Ethiopian government has been working to return and rehabilitate its refugees found in Sudan following the law enforcement operation in Tigray State, said Zadig Abraha, Minister of Democracy Building Center at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The TPLF junta has destroyed many infrastructure in Tigray, including telecom estranging Tigray people from the rest of the world. Experts are working to fix the telephone lines and the connection following the entry of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces to the state.

Additionally, TPLF has destroyed roads and dismantled bridges in the state, including airports. The government is now rebuilding these infrastructures and it has been working to make ready them for services they used to provide before the damage.

The government has nothing to hide from the people Zadig said adding that it has been committed and transparent in doing things. Ethiopia is the third largest country in the world in terms of hosting international refugees and also knows how to manage and distribute humanitarian aid carefully.

Efforts are underway to fix damaged infrastructural facilities, returning and rehabilitating Ethiopian refugees from Sudan within a short period of time.
