The incumbent’s next task after the law enforcement operation is ensuring Tigray’s development and rebuilding damaged infrastructures, the Prime Minister told the Parliament on Monday.

He expressed his government has rehabilitated millions of Internally Displaced Peoples (IDPs) in Gedio, Somali and others parts of the country. And currently it is working to rehabilitate citizens who fled to Sudan due to the law enforcement operation. In addition, the government will bring to court those who had committed crimes and fled to Sudan.

Ethiopia is always ready to open its diplomatic door for peaceful, bilateral and multilateral diplomatic relations with countries willing to work peacefully in various sectors. However, if anyone thinks otherwise to violate Ethiopia’s interest, they should refer to country’s valorous history and its sovereign power in the global arena.

The country has successfully accomplished the law enforcement operation with laudable capacity and skill. The coordinated efforts of the Ethiopian people witnessed in law enforcement operation need to turn to development activities in a bid to alleviate abject poverty and ensure prosperity.
