Whenever we talk about sustainable development, we are talking about delivering better and safe future to the coming generation. Safe journey needs safe environment. Having large factories and advanced technologies does not ensure success or development.

The future generation needs safe environment which is free from pollution. It needs safe air to breath. As it was repeatedly mentioned by Prime minister Abiy Ahmed, green and climate resilient economy is critical to Ethiopia`s move towards economic prosperity.

The world is found in a critical moment facing a deadly virus –Corona that paralyzed global economy and shut down various firms. Ethiopia is not exceptional to this. However, by considering its future reward the nation will keep on planting billions of seedlings till it hits the target. It has become years since Ethiopia introduced political and economic reforms and positive results are witnessed. The reform in political and economic affair is a good implication to the green development. What we plant today will reward us tomorrow..
