It is crystal clear that the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam has been the talking point of all Ethiopians residing in the length and breadth of the world. It is no secret that a lot has been said and written about the Nile River and the construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam over and over again.
In the same vein, each and every one should know the fact that the Nile is the gift of Ethiopia that arises from the Ethiopian highlands and takes away 86% of its rain water and springs without doubt.
To the surprise of everyone, government heads of Egypt time and again think that Ethiopia is their never-ending premeditated opponent. They do not seem to know the fact that Ethiopians never cross other’s right and give up when their right is crossed no matter what the cost may be. Ethiopians do not hesitate to give their all for their motherland.
Egyptians propagate that Egypt is the gift of the Nile. They attach importance to their selfish interest time and time again. By hook or crook, they do not want Ethiopians to make use of their own resources for a wide spectrum of development activities.
Nowadays, following the successful completion of the first round filling of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, Ethiopian Diasporas residing in every nook and cranny of the world have been expressing their infinite happiness in a wide spectrum of ways time and again. They as well vowed to stand by the side of the government more than ever before.
Seifu Berket is one of the residents of Virginia. He said pertaining to the filling of the dam, “When I overheard the news of the filling of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, I was taken by surprise. I would say, the incumbent has been making history now and again. If truth be told, the dam will take Ethiopia to the next chapter of success in the shortest possible time. This reality on the ground demonstrates in black and white the commitment and determination of the government of Ethiopia,”
“By the same token, when the dam sees the day of light, Ethiopia will get to the bottom of impediments revolving around lack of electricity in Ethiopia. More to the point, if Ethiopia continues working by the sweat of its brow, the country can easily harvest the fruit of success almost immediately.
