An increase in public contribution means an increase in the construction of the dam. As far as we the Ethiopians sustain our support, the rest is history. It will be a matter of time before GERD lights the houses of millions of Ethiopians. Until then, the contribution of the public should continue with intensity.

As a symbol of Ethiopiansim and manifestation of our unity, GERD needs active involvement of every individual. Supporting the construction of the dam needs not pressure or advertisement. It is our dam and our responsibility.

Nine years ago when Ethiopia puts the corner stone to build the dam, not few had considered it as unrealistic propaganda. However, the latest historic dam filling have showed world that Ethiopians can turn their ambition into reality. We have started it. We shall finalize it!!
