ADDIS ABABA– During its 83rd regular session the council of ministers has passed decisions over timely issues including incentives for medical staff engaged in the prevention of COVID-19, geothermal power development.
Accordingly the draft proclamation submitted by Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Electricity for the amendment of some of the terms in the current proclamation that have been posing problems on the development of geothermal power have been directed to the House of Peoples Representatives for ratification.
The Council has also approved a draft regulation that provides incentives for medical professionals who are engaged in the risky task of prevention of COVID-19.
