Blood is thicker than water

There is no gainsaying the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic has been spreading in the left, right and center of the world and claiming the lives of thousands of people. At the moment, this global disaster is weakening the economy of quite a lot of countries time after time.

Following the pandemic, governments of various countries in the world have been abandoning sports events, concerts, schools and other related aspects with a view to controlling the spread of the disease. They have been as well imposing restrictions on travel, shopping, nationwide stay at home orders,

As everyone is well aware of the COVID-19 disease is spreading in every nook and cranny of the world at an alarming rate in the blink of an eye. Sadly, aside from crying their eyes out for their believe ones, most people residing in most parts of the world have been struggling with life challenges given that the disease has the potential to create devastating economic disasters.

As the COVID-19 pandemic is making happen death, ailments and what have you, some people are giving up hope on life and cursing their rotten lucks time and time again.

Taking the existing situation into account, the government of Ethiopia has been stretching its hands for the disadvantaged ones.

Along the same line, Ethiopian Diasporas living in different parts of the world have been standing by the side of the disadvantaged Ethiopians via the Ethiopian Diaspora Trust Fund (EDTF) Emergency established by the EDTP Advisory Council.

Putting a wide array of techniques into effect, the Council has been doing the whole lot possible to alleviate the COVID-19 pandemic influence across the country.

According to the Ethiopian News Agency, the Ethiopian Diaspora Trust Fund revealed that it has obtained protective personal Equipment and related medical supplies worth 1.173 million USD to defend the wellbeing of frontline health personnel working to save lives across Ethiopia in the campaign against COVID-19.

The EDTF Advisory Council Chairperson, Professor Alemayehu G. Mariam extended his gratitude Ethiopian Diaspora in ninety three countries that continue to contribute to EDTF helping it finance critical needs of disadvantaged areas.

As everyone is well aware of whenever Ethiopians encounter a certain problem, Ethiopians Diasporas residing in the length and breadth of the world embark on stretching their hands in next to no time. They give their all to their country with pleasure.
