ADDIS ABABA – Over 130 Ethiopian agricultural companies are taking part in the 25th Gulfood 2020 exhibition, one of the largest exhibitions for food manufacturers and traders in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Opening Ethiopia’s pavilion on Sunday, Trade and Industry State Minister, Mesganu Arga said that the exhibition avails Ethiopian food manufacturers and traders a good opportunity to tap the region’s enormous potential for agricultural exports.
The state minister further noted that the biggest annual food exhibition also enables Ethiopia’s coffee, sesame and other products to gain a big number of international visitors.
Local exporters are also offering pulses, oilseeds, spices, honey and meat to the global market in Ethiopia’s pavilion in the exhibition which is entitled ‘‘Taste of Origins.’’
The 25th Gulfood exhibition is being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 16-20 February 2020.
