ADDIS ABABA- Oromo Democratic Party(ODP) and Oromo Democratic Front(ODF) signed an agreement to merge as one political party.
The agreement has signed between Deputy Chairman of ODP Lemma Megerssa and ODF Chairman of ODF Lencho Leta at the office of Oromia State President.
ODF is one of the political parties came in and operating locally after accepting the call of the Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed. The leaders of ODF are the founding members of Oromo Libraion Front (OLF).
The Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) is a political organization established in 1973 by Oromo nationalists to lead the national liberation struggle of the Oromo people against the then colonial rule.
