The magi are faithful, strong and wise people who traveled miles to witness the birth of love. They traveled from east to the blessed land that was selected to be the birthplace of love. Of course, it seems an occurrence. But, the situation was divinely predestined and blessing to the city.
The magi began their way to the Middle East led by a star ahead of them. In fact, they had a strong bond with the stars. They calculated time and undertook their careers based on the indication of the placement and settings of the stars. So, they were among the first people who realized the time when love was born. Thus, they began traveling pointing by the peculiar star to the accurate location. The magi were in their way to visit love having gold, frankincense, and myrrh as gifts to the newborn affection that provides bread of life and righteousness.
Some say among the magi were Ethiopians. Hence, Ethiopians are among the first people to witness the birth of the love that came after many years based on God’s promise to Adam that he will purify him born from his descendants. It is mysterious about why God chooses to be languished on earth while everything is in his hand. It seems fantasy to witness God born in cattle’s manger whereas the sky and the earth are the places of his throne. It is questionable why he prefers to walk the walk of humans. Maybe, it is to compensate or to honor his handiwork, man. It may be to save his relatives who were languished in hell due to the fault of Adam. It also can be to confront and win devil in human flesh (in a way it couldn’t expect).
God created man in his own facet. And he prefers to be born again [as per his word] from man to save Adam. It is obscure why the people who offer gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the newborn love (Jesus) are yet fighting each other from the grudge. It feels also ridiculous to see the people who were the first to witness the birth of love (Jesus) is quarreling grouped in ethnic identification due to lack of love. It is unbelievable to watch the world-famous believers killing each other lacking faith and loyalty to one another.
It is embarrassing and mysterious why Ethiopians /the Magi/ who had strong wisdom about astrology and absolutely aware about the star that ahead to love are forgotten their intelligence to follow the suit of love, exploit their abundant resource to provide it as a gift to the almighty one. The Bible mentions Ethiopia more than 40 times. The country is the origin of the Nile River that cited in the Bible among the four rivers that flow to Eden. Ethiopia is also a land where the full version of the book of Enoch [the lost version of the Bible] is found for the first time. Being the origin to human ancestry and several fauna and flora
some say Ethiopia may be the place where the ship of Noah was first landed on. Clergies believed that God’s scheme of rescuing man is greater than his wisdom to create him. It is about confronting devil via human flesh.
Ethiopians were among the magi who have great intelligence to astrology, mine extraction and pottery that’s why they brought a priceless gift by finding the newborn love, Jesus. Will they regain their all-rounded wisdom back? We hope that they will get their magi again to rule them to the paradise of love and togetherness.
