ADDIS ABABA – The ‘Export Product Contract, Registration and Performance’ guideline already meeting its projected goal, Ministry of Trade and Industry announced.
The guideline, which is aimed at controlling illegal trade activities, is said to be successful at the early stage of its implementation. According to Ambassador Mesganu Arega, State Minister of Trade and Industry, the guideline was essential to benefit the nation accordingly as it controls exporters who sell their export commodities far lower than the average global price.

He also indicated that ECX is carrying out various activities to modernize its activities and overcome the challenges towards product quality and level assurance.
