ADDIS ABABA – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has called local business community members to work more on peace and support the country’s journey towards prosperity.
Addressing the peace conference held yesterday under the theme “Let’s build comfortable Ethiopia all together” the premier has dubbed investors and each participants to be proud as they are ambassador of peace.
He also suggested youth to think and live beyond their current situation pointing that imagination has a power for better future.
Moferiat Kamil, Minister of Peace on her part stated that it is important to protect peace with no reservation as peace makes everyone profitable throughout life. “If we strive to avoid every conflict in the country, it is possible to bring sustainable peace across the nation and beyond,” she added.
Moreover, she called all Ethiopians to work on sustaining peace for Ethiopia stating that Ethiopia is more than the politics and politicians too. She also extended her appreciation for the committee for their initiative to discuss and work up on peace.
On the other hand, Frealem Shibabaw, Chairperson of Ethiopian Business People’s Committee said that youths, religious leaders, business people, elders, activists, media and each individual at each corner of the country should strive for sustaining peace in the country.
According to Frealem, the committee is also getting ready to establish stupendous institutions that are capable of creating jobs for youth across the nation through prioritizing peace.
