ADDIS ABABA– Urban Job Creation and Food Security Agency (UJCFSA) has fallen short in metting job creation target for the first quarter of the budget year.
UJCFSA has planned to create nearly 300,000 job opportunities in the first quarter but only managed 142,372 during the first three months performance.
Agency, Communication Affairs Team Leader, Abozenech Negash told The Ethiopian Herald the 142,372 jobs went to women, people with disabilities, returnees, university and college graduates. On the other hand, the Agency has collected nearly 2 billion birr and provided loans to 22,140 enterprises in the first quarter of this budget year.
