She was born in Konta special woreda of the Southern Nation, Nationalities and Peoples State. Her name is Muluwork Amibaw. She is 22. It was up to grade nine she attended her class.
Until she became Nine, Muluwork had been eating and drinking. Then after, she stopped eating and drinking. Doing so, she managed to live for about 13 years.
While a child families were persistently asking her to eat more and she was replying she will eat latter. But she had not been eating. Then eventually she stopped. Persons nagging her were many. But she didn’t admit them.
As to what she told to the media, she doesn’t feel hungry and exhausted. Her mind doesn’t request her to eat and drink. Muluwork senses she is different and she has accepted that.
The higher health institution result also shows that she doesn’t eat any meal including taking drugs but her organs are intact just like any human being and she can live safe as any person.
The Konta woreda culture and tourism office has about 1.2 million Birr budget and facilitated the opportunity for people to visit the girl. Many local and foreigner people are visiting her.
Therefore, if anyone entertains doubt s/he could see this amazing girl in person coming to Konta Woreda.
