ADDIS ABABA – A Sudanese delegation of more than 50 members on a mission of public diplomacy arrived here yesterday for a three-day visit in Ethiopia.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the purpose of their visit is to cement ties between peoples of the two countries and to pay gratitude to the Government of Ethiopia for the role it has played in restoring peace and stability in the Sudan.
The team composed of government officials, religious leaders, prominent figures, journalists, artists, business persons, politicians and scholars is expected to meet and discuss with various counterparts.
The guests are expected to visit some of the projects in Ethiopia while artists of the two countries are scheduled to organize concerts at the National Theater.
