The Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) will launch today his new book: ‘Medemer’ literally means in Amharic synergization.
The Book is based on the Premier’s thought of ‘Medemer’, published in three languages. While the books in Amharic and Afaan Oromo will be released today, it will have its English version in less than three months.
The book published in one million copies has already been in distribution for the last couples of days across the country. The revenue from its sale has already been donated by Abiy for expanding schools across the country.
The book revolves around Abiy’s philosophy of medemer as the way out of existing major challenges and the way forward for the country as well as its neighbours and Africa at large.
It is to be recalled that Abiy told world leaders gathered for the 2019 World Economic Forum in Davos the three pillars of his ‘Medemer’: vibrant
democracy, economic vitality, and regional integration with openness to the world.
Thus, the book focuses on policy issues that the country needs to pursue including in foreign relations and social issues.
