Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed’s surprise visit on public institutions has created contentment and sense of having an accountable and devoted leader.
Adamu Geleta a resident of Sebeta town said “The Prime Minister’s unexpected visits at different institutions have enthused the community and civil servants of the town.”
He added that such perambulations will create strong initiative and accountability as well as big commitment to serve the community and work for the development of the country.
Abeba Alemu, who has been engaged in the National Palace project, has been spending days and nights towards expediting the project. He is happy that Prime Minister Abiy recognized their commitment and dedication towards seeing to the accomplishment of the project and highlighted that they are serving role models for the new generation.
She insisted that she and her partners believe that the country is blessed with an accountable, respectable and responsible leader.
According to her, the Premier has signaled huge inspiration and motivation for the workers by shaking their hands and showing very welcoming gestures with his wise vision that could be realized in collaboration with Ethiopians and development partners.
“I never expected such a visit because our experience was fixed by a hangover effect from the past framed with our past leaders whom we only used to watch on TV screens. Now, I and my friends consider Abiy as a leader who has broken such outmoded trend by showing his willingness to work with every citizen and highly committed to develop the country,” she pointed out.
For her part, Genet Mekuria a resident of Kazanchis, Addis Ababa said that she had been an eye witness when he showed up on a renovation task of an old lady’s house in the area. “That has fueled my passion to stand by him in all his undertakings!”
“He has a great motivation to work hard and change the nation with all Ethiopians at home and abroad. I have seen this enthusiasm from day one he became Prime Minster of Ethiopia,” she said.
