Harar: A City of Love

In the heart of the East, where the sun greets the day,

Lies Harar, the fourth holiest city of Islam, where love finds its way.

Amidst Jegol walls, where stories unfold,

A tapestry woven with threads bright and bold.

Fruits hang like jewels from the market’s embrace,

Mangoes and guavas, a sweet, vibrant space.

Laughter and whispers dance in the air,

As Christians and Muslims share moments so rare.

The calls to prayer blend with the hum of the street,

A harmony echoing, where cultures meet.

In this sacred haven, where faiths intertwine,

Hearts beat as one, in a rhythm divine.

Arter Rambo would stroll through these lanes,

Inspired by colors, the joy, and the pains.

In every corner, a story to tell,

Of unity blossoming, where all live well.

So here in Harar, let love be the guide,

In the city of peace, where we stand side by side.

With every sunrise, may our spirits renew,

In the heart of this city, where love always grew.
