ADDIS ABABA– TECNO Mobile, a Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, unveiled its flagship SPARK 20 Pro+ cellphone model to the Ethiopian market at a high-profile event at the Friendship Park yesterday.
As the official mobile phone sponsor of the African Cup of Nations 2024, TECNO also revealed the Spark 20 Series smartphones in the program that was attended by senior representatives of the Ethiopian football community, and key stakeholders.
The new Spark Series, which is currently priced at 23,000 Birr, has the G99 Ultra Boost Processor, 256 GB ROM and 16 GB RAM, 5000 mAh capacity, and is said to have the latest technology. It was stated at the product launching event that the SPARK 20 Pro + meets the high expectations and varied needs of young Ethiopian customers and the device is available in four colors, namely Moolint Black, Frosty Ivory, Sunset Blush and Magic Skin Green.
The event marks a significant milestone for the company, as it brings its innovative new products to one of Africa’s fastest-growing economies with a population of over 115 million people and home to a rapidly-growing consumer base. In addition to showcasing cutting-edge technology to young Ethiopian customers, the event also celebrated the iconic continental football competition as well as honored some of the most respectful Ethiopian football personalities who made history with their role in the nation’s participation in past AFCON tournaments.
