Today, Ethiopia highly demands the united hands of its children. The oldest, independent, and, glorious country is now under the threat of instability orchestrated by its internal traitors and neo-colonialists. The country’s internal and external enemies never sleep for a while. The internal enemies conspire day and night together with the external enemies to sabotage and dismantle their motherland. However, Ethiopia has never been defeated by its enemies. The golden victory, the Victory of Adwa, which was gained by the sacrifice of its brave children over the Fascist Italian forces, is the best showcase. Its prominent patriots never hesitated to sacrifice their precious life and defend the country against its enemy. The country is protected with its patriotic children next to the almighty God. Yet, its opponents have never tired of graving deep to disintegrate the country.
Currently, different external enemies including some international media houses like CNN, BBC, and Aljazeera are working untiringly with country’s internal enemies such as the traitor terrorist TPLF group to destabilize the country thereby serve their interests. These media reports clearly show that they [CNN, BBC, and Aljazeera] have substantial relations with the terrorist TPLF group. Neglecting the 110 million Ethiopians’ voices and entirely zooming into the terrorist TPLF remnant’s voice, they have continued spreading white lies. Some international media desire to inflame the conflict and incite the bloodiest war in Ethiopia to hit their headlines with innocent Ethiopian mothers and children’s blood. In fact, it is not only Ethiopia that these international media houses have targeted for; but they continue shouting about the negative aspect of Africa and its people. Indisputably, it is against humanity to support humans’ atrocity. Such media reports give priority to the terrorist group advancements rather than the lives of thousands of millions of innocent Ethiopians who were slayed brutally in Amhara and Afar states; as well as those millions of people who are fleeing their living places, and compelled to house in shelters in a manner risk their lives. Understanding the clear intention of the terrorist TPLF enterprise [an existential threat to more than one hundred million people] plus to condemn the interferences of the West on Ethiopia’s internal affairs, Ethiopians living at home and abroad are saying ‘No More silencing pro-Ethiopian voices’.
More importantly, the international community is well informed of the hidden agenda of these international media outlets about Africa. As a result, disregarding the misinformation campaign and the white lies disseminated against Ethiopia, most of all, discounting the repetitive travel warnings of different countries and media outlets, numerous tourists and diplomats from the six continents are coming to the capital Addis Ababa. The tourists and diplomats have also witnessed that everything is calm in Ethiopia despite the on-going law enforcement measures of the government against the terrorist group in the northern part of the country.
The internal and external conspiracy leads the country towards an economic crisis. The country has been generating more from the tourism sector for the past decades. However, the on-going instability caused by the terrorist remnant TPLF, OLF Shene, and other external enemies hugely affected the tourism sector.
To improve the situation and increase the influx of people visiting the country, recently, the Prime Minister Office called upon all Ethiopian Diasporas dispersed across the world to join ‘the great homecoming of the Ethiopians challenge’. Accordingly, over one million Ethiopian Diasporas are expected to arrive at Addis Ababa during the eve of the upcoming Ethiopian Christmas.
In his tweet, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) also called upon the Ethiopian Diasporas across the world to join ‘the great homecoming challenge’. “Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia around the world, ‘join the great Ethiopian homecoming challenge’,” he tweeted.
Prime Minister Office Press Secretary Billene Seyoum also called upon the Ethiopian Diasporas living in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia to spend the grand Christmas holiday in their homeland together with their family and friends.
“Ethiopia is inviting one million Ethiopian Diasporas to come home and celebrate Ethiopian Christmas on 01/07/2022. The great homecoming challenge targets to demonstrate that Ethiopia prevails; its citizens deserve peace and send a message of unity to the international community. In addition, the homecoming challenge commends the country’s longstanding supporters’ contribution and unreserved support at this time of need.”
Ethiopian is always ready to welcome home Ethiopian Diasporas from all corners of the world. Moreover, Addis Ababa is ready to warmly welcome its children on the eve of the Ethiopian Christmas through dismantling the western conspiracy. The time is ticking and the children of Ethiopia are zealously collecting their luggage to celebrate the day at home.
The great homecoming of the Ethiopian Diasporas challenge reveals the decadence of some international media that have been immersed with massive fabrication and dissemination of fake news about the current Ethiopian situation.
What is more, the Ethiopian Diasporas are united and showcased their unwavering commitment towards breaking the conspiracy network of internal and external enemies. They responded swiftly to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s (PhD) calls of contributing their part in the country’s development efforts. The Ethiopian Diasporas from all walks of life have mobilized huge money for health, education, and other infrastructural development in the country.
The on-going great homecoming of Ethiopian Diasporas challenge on the eve of the Ethiopian Christmas also gives impetus to stimulate the country’s tourism sector. The country’s tourism has been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Hotels, lodges, tour and travel agents, as well as other tourist service providers have experienced the impact of the pandemic since its outbreak.
In sum, the great homecoming challenge will help recover the tourism sector by resuming the hotel, transport, and souvenir shops services. More importantly, the homecoming challenge signals the end of western social, political, and economic sabotages and conspiracy against Ethiopia and Africa. The international media are also expected to end their intentional massive misinformation campaign and wide caretaking services to any militant groups in Africa. #NoMore.
