Waging meaningless war on meaningful country

Many nations watch Ethiopia in vigil

To direct events to their evil will.

Equal to the enemies’ viciousness

Belligerently exhibit their wickedness.

They applaud enemy’s stealthy maneuver

Their indifference is full and runs over.

Deaf and dumb, they pay no heed

Detached they are from ethical creed.

Journalism has lost its alacrity

Gone is all its virtuosity.

True stories are no more needed

They are removed and carefully weeded.

Gain of money does loudly cry

Profession coerced and loyalty does pry

I wonder why they all attack

From up, down, front and back.

Waging on us a proxy war

Loudly they cry with deafening roar.

Utterly baseless, ill-fated allegation

They dream to destroy a sovereign nation.

They reject empowering democracy

And cling to abusive diplomacy.

Accomplices flock into Tigray

Ethiopia doesn’t flinch how hard they try.

No matter how many they are

We fight enemies from near and afar.

Ethiopia inches into victory

With commitment as firm as tree

Strapped from the left and right

Never dies her valor to fight.

She is reputed for bearing the plight

So she stands firm and dispels the fright.

Media chatter unchecked and unedited

By their audiences they’re much appreciated.

The fake reality they unwisely create

Their fictitious narratives widely permeate.

The international communities deliberately deny

Rejecting her truth, but clinging to their white lie.

The blood that floods in streets to them unseen

They embrace the defiled, push aside the clean.

Their journalists imbued with incisive evil

They cast heart-rending news edited by the devil.

The blast of their lies, deafens the ear

It is boringly disgusting for all to hear.

Such irrational and ill-intentioned adherence

Boosted the enemies’ unbearable coherence

Enemies from the US and the West

Norway, Finland, and all the rest;

They joined hands to intimidate Ethiopia

To destroy her like Afghanistan, Iraqi and Syria

Whatever’s done to the victim of the circumstance

These powers deny her the legitimate assistance.

The “democratic” world blindly rally behind the junta

They’re bewitched by the rhetoric of Jeffry and Samantha.

Such powers plant their footsteps everywhere

And create glaring instability, poverty and despair.

Yet, innocent Americans are not implicated

To be accountable for the crimes indicated.

But those who are devilishly interested

Make situations worse and more complicated.

They appeal to international community

And thus justify the rebels’ brutality.

Though Ethiopia is more challenged than before

She refines her defense strategy more and more.

Her enemies labored to put her under siege

Attacked and severed her diplomatic bridge.

The junta fighters are everywhere

Ever intensify their human slaughter.

Human sentiment, out of them drained

Perhaps due to the way they’re trained.

Spilling human blood to them is exciting

Alas! Their devilish act is so frightening.

The western media are their biggest fan

They are behind the deed and the whole plan.

They rejoice at the scream of babies

Relish the bitter cry of daddies and mommies.

They give such sad news a big coverage

And offer the murderers a strong leverage.

If they were the victims how would they feel?

They would flood TVs with wail and incessant appeal.

Public forums would be rocked by deafening shrill

Yet, when innocents die, they remain quiet and still.

Robing and looting, their favorite trade

Destroy infrastructure in their savagery raid.

They leave nothing behind

And behave frantic and wild.

Pregnant mothers murdered brutally

The dead are spread in the sun to rot filthily.

Even domestic animals were never spared

Were shot down and left dead.

Tons of food and emergency assistance

Were looted and plundered without hesitance.

The war lords frantically prance around

Though naked bodies are scattered around.

Such are the terms of negotiation

Crafty sermon in devil’s congregation

Let’s all run full-speed to victory

Shake off subjugations and misery.
