ADDIS ABABA- In her tweets, Mekdes Asefa has revealed that how the CNN and its journalist has been working biased against Ethiopia and the truth on the ground in connection with the current conflict in Ethiopia.
The reason for terrorist TPLF ally CNN focus on the Fake Humera Massacre was to pressure UN other NGOs and International community to put ultimately sanctions on Ethiopia, draw no attention to their baffling silence on the real stories and drown coverage of these real stories besides they submitted regularly their performance reports to TPLF or whoever hired them on their behalf through nine headlines that stated UNSC or the U.S. to do this or that ‘after CNN’s investigation’ or ‘after CNN confirmed this, she noted.
“The use of child soldiers, looting of warehouses, Afar, Chena massacres, mass grave, attack on Eritrean refugees and missing aid trucks are confirmed crime by the terrorist TPLF but CNN didn’t given any coverage about this worthy real stories.”
CNN published around 60 articles from November 3,2020 to date. Biased reporting and clear support of CNN for TPLF is known but check these facts out. CNN actively developed nine editorial between November 5 and 13,2020. Zero for the rest month except two on Mai Kadra. CNN’s five stories then were two about food and famine in Tigray, one on election result and a brief one about TPLF entering Afar she said not a word on TPLF killings of suspected collaborators with federal government in Mekele, shelling of towns and killings of civilians in Korem, Alamata, Kobo, different parts of Afar, Raya, Wolkait that happened in July ,2021nor about the Amhara and Afar IDPs.
TPLF continued attacks in August and September 2021 and CNN wrote only five articles, one article that couldn’t have been shorter about TPLF “reportedly” having seized control of Lalibella, one on sexual violence in Tigray, one on Fake Humera Massacre and one opinion piece on Abiy.
