
CNN urged to apologize Ethiopia for its erroneous dee

ADDIS ABABA—Ethiopian American Civic Council (EACC) has penned an open letter to express its concern about CNN’snumber of fabricated news on Tigray situation apart fromurging the news outlet to apologize Ethiopian government and its people.
Having a stay with local media, EACC Chairperson Deacon YosefTefri said that the main purpose of the letter is to take an enforcement of forensic investigation on the corpses thrown to the river and CNN was invited to make fake news pretending that the Ethiopian Army did it, and CNNshould apologize Ethiopians and the Ethiopian government regretting about its wrong deed aired on 9, September 2021.
According to the Chairperson, CNN has been reporting falsehood fabrications, orchestrated news and documents targeting at defaming Ethiopia as if it hadviolated human rights, caused massive damages on thepeople of Tigray with no credible evidences. In other words, the CNN report has had a lot of gaps, no evidence,lacked facts and tangible credentials. In short, the American News Services always stand to execute American policy at the expense of professionalcode of ethics.
Particularly, the American News Services has not recognized the MaikadraMassacre perpetrated by terrorist TPLF for unknown reasons, whereas others have given it recognition.
As to the Chairperson, EACC has public relation campaigns and professionals towell disseminate facts and complains to the concerned bodies across the world utilizing wire service system.
Meanwhile, EACC has been carrying out various activities to vividly reveal Ethiopian interest and the realty on the ground to the rest of the world over the past five plus years. It has also planned to provide protest letter to VOA because of fake news reporting on Ethiopian current situation.
