Under total pressure from recurrent defeats at all battle fronts, terrorist TPLF spokesperson, Getachew Reda recently bragged that his terrorist troops made a tactical retreat from Afar to focus on its killing and looting campaign in Amhara Region. However, the terrorists are fleeing from the fronts in utter urgency ultimately being forced to come back again for more killings. The outspoken trumpeter Getachew tried to fool the entire world that his terrorist troops never killed any group of people or committed genocide in Amhara and Afar regions as if repeated falsehood turns into the truth by itself.
Terrorist TPLF has now come up with another hide and seek child’s play by talking of a unilateral ceasefire while in reality it is getting ready for another foolish attempt to come to power in Ethiopia through a protracted war.
CNN’s Nima Elbaggir recently came up with totally false and toxic reporting in in which she falsely and with no reliable verification twitted that “in our latest investigation, we witnessed mutilated bodies washed up on the shores of the Setit River. Our findings point to a campaign of torture, terror and mass incarceration in Humera, Tigray bearing all the hallmarks of genocide as defined by the UN.” The facts reveal otherwise.
State of Emergency Fact Check Task Force, a government body, shared a brief alert earlier in August on its social media page, on Monday, saying that it has received information that TPLF propaganda wing has prepared audio-visual materials for the “Humera Massacre” campaign.
“The fake ‘Humera Massacre’ campaign by TPLF propagandists has been revived again using false images and showing graphic images. We ask all to disrupt and prevent dissemination of fabricated and misleading information,” it said.
The Sudanese born reporter even claimed that the dead bodies were of Tigrians killed in the area with no reliable scientific evidence. The Ethiopian government has earlier clearly reported on the intention of terrorist TPLF transporting the dead bodies to dump them of Tekeze River trying to falsely claim that citizen from Tigray are massacred and dumped into the river. Terrorist TPLF as usual collaborated with CNN to misinform the international community while there is tangible evidence from UN Human Rights Commission and Ethiopian Human Rights Commission have earlier disclosed that terrorist TPLF vandals have massacred more than 1,500 citizens in Mai Kadra and additional mass killings committed in Seti Humera. CNN has never reported or cared to report on this in its unbelievable partiality in professional news reporting.
US Senator Chris Van Hollen, D-Md recently issued a press release in which he wrote “As the situation in Ethiopia continues to worsen, I remain deeply concerned by the evolving conflict and repeat my calls for all parties to come to the table to bring an end to it. I am particularly alarmed by the recent Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) offensive that has expanded the conflict to the Amhara and Afar regions, with new reports of mass displacement, a worsening humanitarian situation, ethnically-targeted killings, and atrocities. The looting of a USAID warehouse containing food supplies by TPLF forces in Amhara and the reported massacre of more than 120 civilians near Gondar are abhorrent and underscore the destruction being wrought by the TPLF offensive.”
The Senator has exposed the false propaganda that terrorist TPLF and its collaborators are fanning to hide the genocidal acts that they have conducted on innocent Ethiopians. Indeed, they can no more survive on using children, mothers, and the elderly and even pregnant women as cannon fodder for their fascistic war on the people of Ethiopia.
Terrorist TPLF uses four sets of propaganda packages for four different targets. The first targets are people of Tigray in Ethiopia. The main content of the propaganda package for them includes false success news at the battle front, hared for the Amhara people and disrespect for the rest of Ethiopians and rejection of their Ethiopian citizenship and glorification for the so called TDF and the Tigray Government. The second one is for Tigrians in the Diaspora mainly and the international community through Dimtse Woyane, Tigray Online, Cyber Tigray and various social media networks focusing on human rights, so called genocide and famine in Tigraay The third is for western and Arab media networks with the objective of fanning false propaganda on human rights the content of which is based on doctored video clippings and pictures trying to depict that ethnic cleansing is taking place in Tigray.
They use overlapped propaganda materials using false figures and manipulative materials which they prepare in a more make-believe manner.
The current terrorist TPLF propaganda specifically focuses on quest for peace and dialogue while deploying more child soldiers to the battle front as a means of attempting to distract the attention of the Ethiopian Defense Forces.
The irony is that the international community is basing its decisions regarding Ethiopia on the fabricated reporting from terrorist TPLF. Here I must say that although the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is attempting to expose the falsehood in terrorist TPLF media in a more formal way, there is indeed more to be done by the Ministry and local media outlets.
