ADDIS ABABA- FDRE President Sahlework Zewdie receives credentials of ten newly appointed ambassadors to Ethiopia.
The new ambassadors are from Great Britain, UAE, Japan, Brazil, Australia, Namibia, Angola, Chile, Latvia and Botswana.
The ambassadors expressed their readiness and pledged to work with Ethiopia in various areas including trade, investment, livestock production, cultural exchange and education.
Speaking on the occasion, President Sahle-Work reiterated Ethiopia’s keen interest to expand the bilateral relations with the respective countries. The President also underlined the importance of further strengthening trade and investment ties.
She also briefed the ambassadors on the transformational process that is currently being undertaken in Ethiopia.
The ambassadors also lauded the ongoing reforms in the country is running now and the nation playing in the peace and security to establish better relation with other countries mainly in horn of Africa.
