At the current juncture, apart from making every possible effort to tarnish the good image of the country by bringing into play some international media outlets of the world, the westerners have been doing everything possible to twist Ethiopia’s arm under the guise of humanitarian assistance.
The conspiracies of the western camps are doomed to fail in Ethiopia. No intervention or intrigue cannot weaken and divide Ethiopians as its people do not give the green light for this to happen under the umbrella of their motherland no matter what the cost may be. The current generation is no different.
The generation has been able to conduct one of the most democratic and peaceful elections in the history of the country. This generation is building Africa’s largest dam on the Abbay River with the second-round filling completed with flying colors. This generation is also determined to uproot the seed of hatred once and for all. But, the present youth is also aware of the ongoing campaign to blackmail the good image of the country.
In actual fact, getting hold of the wrong end of the stick concerning Ethiopia and its history, some doomsayers have been unveiling their hidden agenda in quite a lot of respects. Other than that, for not knowing the true nature of Ethiopians, some naysayers believe that Ethiopia will fragment like that of Yugoslavia. Coming up with this kind of poor thinking emanates from their evil wish.
Ethiopia has centuries-old history and civilization of resilience and invincibility. Let alone this time, Ethiopians had come out victorious during trying times of the past. The united people of Ethiopia have successfully fended off foreign aggression and invasion.
Millions have paid the ultimate price to ensure the sovereignty and unity of the country. This time, the current generation is strong and united enough to sustain this valor as thousands of Ethiopians continue joining the military and continue to rally behind Ethiopian National Defense Forces in the fight against internal traitors and external interventionists.
The other warfront is the misinformation campaign. The westerners have been getting themselves fully engaged in blame-shifting and throwing cold water on the efforts of the Ethiopian government. While condoning the acts of the terrorist TPLF group, there has been a tsunami of misinformation to weaken Ethiopia. On top of that, the Westerns have been partaking in synchronized conspiracies for the most part by the little do humanitarian agencies. Sad as it may sound, they give prominence to political conspiracies than humanitarian works.
To the surprise of everyone, since the onset of the law enforcement operations in the Tigray State, some countries in the west, as well as their errand international organizations have been taking sides and emboldening the terrorist group in many ways.
As the matter stands, some international media outlets have been playing a major role in disseminating disinformation and cooked up stories misleading the international community. The media campaign is primarily led by paid activists and the terrorist group’s sympathizers. The organized media campaigns are meant to disgrace the ongoing fight for survival and whitewash the violent crimes of the terrorist TPLF group.
Furthermore, as they work with some activist-led human rights organizations, they make every effort to drag through the mud the good image of Ethiopia.
Notwithstanding the fact that the international media outlets know like the palm of their hands the fact that the law enforcement operations took place in the Tigray region with a focus on intending to captivate the terrorist TPLF Junta, reinstating legitimate administration, implementing law and order, bringing fugitives to justice, and what have you, some international media outlets have been turning a blind eye to the honest truth.
Similarly, though the government of Ethiopia moves heaven and earth to smooth the progress of the humanitarian aids in the Tigray region as it should be, some actors kept on giving the cold shoulder to its efforts.
When the terrorist TPLF Junta carried an attack on the Northern Command of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces stationed in the region in the early morning of 4 November 2020, the international media outlets did not utter a word. They buttoned up their lips. However, when the Ethiopian National Defense Forces embarked on undertaking law enforcement operations, they set in motion mystifying the international community.
In fact, no attempt could spare the TPLF terrorist group from accountability. The group is known for bankrolling, coaching, and equipping its clique to thwart the democratic transition in Ethiopia and come to power. It is also in the driving seat of the harrowing crimes committed in quite a lot of parts of the nation such as Arsi, Shashemene, Benishangul, Bale, Gura Ferda, and other things of a similar kind.
