ADDIS ABABA- Terrorist TPLF has robbed and carried out deliberate destruction of commercial bank of Ethiopia Gabriye Branch found in Amhara state of NifesMewucha town killing bank security officer.
The bank Manager Alemnew Siyum told Ethiopian Press Agency (EPA)that the terrorist group totally destroyed the fixed asset of the bank including ATM machine using heavy weapons.
As to him, in addition to robbing money that was in the ATM machine, the group destroyed a total property worth over 1.8 million Birr.
He underscored that the group damaged significant documents, computers, data server and others properties targeting at weakening the economy of the country.
Explaining the abolishing of files of over 4,000 customers, he noted that the financial transaction would face difficulties as a result of the terrorist act.
He stated that though the terrorist group has been making use human wave and child soldiers, it has lost hope at all following the coordinated measure taken by the Ethiopian National Defense Force with other security organs.
Apart from committing atrocities against farmers of North Wollo Zone of the state, the terrorist group has burnt down their houses and killing their livestock.
Residents of the zone said that the terrorist group, which rejected the unilateral ceasefire declared by the federal government, has been looting properties, and destroying hospitals, health centers and other infrastructure in the state.
